New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, May 16, 2019:

  • May 15, 4:16 p.m. – Vincent James Aliano Jr., 28, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued in a case of felony possession of a syringe. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was released later the same day after posting $400 cash. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.

  • May 15, 5:30 p.m. – Jesse Dean Burton, 36, Shoals, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and two warrants, one issued out of Martin County on a probation violation and one issued out of Lawrence County in a case involving felony operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension and resisting law enforcement and misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident and resisting law enforcement. His bond in the Greene County case was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was being held without bond in the other cases. Indiana State Police Trooper Caleb Garvin was the arresting officer.

  • May 15, 10:02 p.m. – Mary Beth Ball, 66, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

  • May 16, 2:07 a.m. – Melody Fairlite Sebastian, 35, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She was released later the same day after posting $100 cash. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Zachary Goad was the arresting officer.
