New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • July 6 – Travis Coburn Johnson, 37, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on warrants issued for failure to appear in two cases involving felony possession and dealing methamphetamine and a Writ of Attachment. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent allowed in the two criminal cases and $1,200 cash only for the Writ. Greene County Jail Commander Ken Conolty was the arresting officer.
  • July 6 – Justin D. Rice, 35, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony theft. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Jail Officer Darren McDonald was the arresting officer.
  • July 7 – Joe James Turpin, 25, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor theft and criminal mischief. His bond was set at $16,500 surety with ten percent allowed. Worthington Deputy Marshal Russell Walls was the arresting officer.
  • July 7 – Timothy Frederick Coleman, 29, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor theft and criminal mischief. His bond was set at $16,500 surety with ten percent allowed. He was released on July 8 after posting $1,650 cash. Worthington Deputy Marshal Russell Walls was the arresting officer.
  • July 7 – Regonel Lane Petoskey II, 49, Linton, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony intimidation and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and theft. His bond was set at $6,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Linton Police Officer Orry Phipps was the arresting officer.
  • July 7 – William Wayne Lacer, 38, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on warrants issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor invasion of privacy and failure to appear in another case involving felony intimidation and domestic battery. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent allowed in the invasion of privacy case. Linton Police Officer Paul Clark was the arresting officer.
  • July 7 – Kevin W. Stalcup, 47, Switz City, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08 but less than .15. His bond was set at $4,500 surety with ten percent allowed. He was released on July 8 after posting $450 cash.
