New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • May 24 – Marlin Alexander Ball, 19, Linton, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony intimidation and criminal recklessness with a firearm. His bond was set at $20,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Detective James O’Malley was the arresting officer.
  • May 24 – Bradon M. Graham, 18, Linton, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony intimidation, pointing a firearm at another person and criminal recklessness. His bond was set at $18,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Detective James O’Malley was the arresting officer.
  • May 24 – Latasha Jo Bohnert, 30, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Johnson County in a case involving felony non-support of a dependent child. She was being held without bond. Jasonville Police Assistant Chief Ryan Van Horn was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
