New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • May 11 – Jack F. Sumner, 51, Linton, Ind., was arrested on four warrants: one issued on a preliminary charge of felony operating a vehicle after being judged an habitual traffic offender; one on a petition to revoke bond in a pending case involving felony operating a vehicle after being judged an habitual traffic offender; another one issued for failure to appear in a pending case involving three counts of felony dealing methamphetamine; and one from the Indiana Department of Corrections to revoke parole. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Indiana Miller was the arresting officer.
  • May 11 – Amanda Marie Stahl, 36, Bedford, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor criminal trespassing. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent allowed.
  • May 11 – Billie Jean Polmanter, 34, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving felony theft. She was being held without bond.
  • May 12 – Heather Leeann Atwood, 32, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Her bond was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy David Elmore was the arresting officer.
  • May 12 – Rusty Mason Crowe, 50, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement, and a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Indiana DNR Conservation Officer Greg Swanson was the arresting officer.
  • May 12 - Craig Daniel Blake, 51, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony criminal recklessness and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended – second offense, reckless driving and cruelty to animals, and on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a pending case involving felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing injury and misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident. He was being held without bond in the pending case. Bond was set at $11,000 surety with ten percent allowed in the new case.
  • May 12 – Ashley Nicole Rogers, 28, Dugger, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Lawrence County in a case involving misdemeanor operating a vehicle while never having received a license. She was being held without bond.
  • May 13 – Dustin Ray Saylor, 34, Newberry, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe. and on two Writs of Attachment. He was being held without bond in the drug case. His bond was set at $1,000 cash only for each of the two Writs. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy David Elmore was the arresting officer.
  • May 14 – Aaron Alan Weber, 24, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment issued out of Owen County. He was being held without bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
