Early voting in Indiana begins today, Tuesday, April 9

INDIANAPOLIS (April 9, 2019) – Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is reminding Hoosiers that early and absentee voting for the May 7 Primary Election begins today. From now until May 6, any eligible voter can cast an absentee ballot in-person at their county clerk’s office or request an absentee ballot by mail.

Today, Tuesday, October 9, is last day to register to vote in Fall Election 2018

If you’re not registered to vote, there’s still time, but today is the last day. If you register today, you will be able to vote in the Fall Election on Tuesday, November 6, or be able to vote during the early voting period.

Greene County Clerk Tammy Woodall announced that if a voter wishes to register to vote or update their address, they have until Tuesday, October 9.

Voters can register in person in the Voter Registration Office on the second floor of the Greene County Courthouse from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Voters can also register online by visiting https://indianavoters.in.gov/ until midnight tonight, Tuesday, October 9.

The deadline is fast approaching for anyone interested in running for a seat on a local school board. To file a declaration of candidacy to get your name on the ballot in the General Election in November, the deadline is this Friday, August 24, at 12 noon. Every school board in the county has some seats up for election.
