A Linton woman accused of stealing another woman’s car was taken into custody over the weekend after a warrant was issued for her arrest last week.

Angel Ray Dawn Walls, 33, was arrested by Reserve Officer Dalton Ewers of the Linton Police Department and booked in around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Walls was wanted on a preliminary charge of auto theft, a Level 6 felony.

In the case, investigated by LPD Detective Paul Clark, Walls allegedly took a vehicle without permission then left it in a motel parking lot. Police were able to recover the vehicle.
