Anna Jean Sachtjen of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her residence. She was 43 years old, born October 21, 1963 in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of John and Doris (Lamb) Sachtjen.

She was an employee of General Electric for 18 years and a member of the Local International Brotherhood Union of Electrical Workers where she served on the Executive Board.

Survivors include her husband, Bud Sachtjen of Bloomfield; two children, Dacia Danelle Sachtjen and Jonathon Warren Sachtjen, both of Bloomfield; her mother, Doris Colvin of Bloomfield; and three sisters, Martha Solliday of Switz City, Geraldine Hogue of Worthington, and Kathy Moss of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Sizemore; and her brother, John Edward Sizemore.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, May 9 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Jeff Rockey officiating. The place of burial was Tulip Cemetery near Bloomfield.
