Osborne, Richard L. "Dick"
Tuesday, January 16, 2007 Richard L. “Dick” Osborne of Worthington, Indiana passed away at his home on Monday, January 15, 2007. He was 74 years old, born October 2, 1932 in Lucas, Kentucky, the son of Clarence Robert and Edna Mae (Peden) Osborne.
He was retired from the Indianapolis Athletic Club and he had also worked as an electrician in Indianapolis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion in Worthington.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Smith) Osborne of Worthington; four children, Martha Shaw of Edmonton, Kentucky, Ann Smith of Glasgow, Kentucky, Jackie Cloyd of Indianapolis and Thomas Wolbert Osborne of Oneida, New York; five step-children, Lisa Campbell of Indianapolis, James Cook of Indianapolis, Dennis Cook of Indianapolis, Tracy Cook of Indianapolis and Kathy Davis of Freedom; 16 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
A funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19 with Jason Russo officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The place of burial will be Worthington Cemetery.
