Mooney, Betty F.
Betty F. Mooney of Worthington passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was 79 years old, born in Greene County on May 29, 1927, the daughter of Orman and Bonnie (Bruce) Bough.
Betty was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #479 in Lyons.
Survivors include her son, Joe R. Mooney of Etna Green, Indiana; one grandson, Christopher Mooney of Warsaw, Indiana; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Cletus Bough of Lyons and Ona Bough of Dundee, Florida; and two sisters, Mary Henderson and Katherine Hensley, both of Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James J. Mooney.
A graveside service was held Thursday, May 17 at the Dugger Cemetery with Pastor Randy Raney officiating. Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton provided assistance with the arrangements.
