Mason, Carol Ann

Carol Ann Mason of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2006.  She was 53 years old, born November 19, 1953 in Beverly, Massachusetts, the daughter of Marshale and Genevieve (Campbell) Pool.

Though Carol was disabled, she loved to help others and was active at Head Start and the Family Life Center in Bloomfield.

Her family included: one daughter, Genevieve Reed of Bloomfield; two sons, John Thompson of Worthington and Wesley Thompson of Arizona;  nine grandchildren including David Reed, Jenny Watson, Jacob Reed, Christopher Reed, Felicia Thompson, Jared Thompson, Ethan Harrington, Jennifer Thompson and Jonathon Thompson; four brothers, Jack Pool, Bob Pool, Bill Pool and Paul Pool; two sisters, Marsha Tripp and Norma Sajak; and her mother, Genevieve (Campbell) Johnson of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her father and one grandchild, Paul Reed.

A funeral service was held at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield on Wednesday, January 3 with Rev. Richard Reed officiating. The place of burial was Ridgeport Cemetery in Bloomfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Head Start or the Family Life Center in Bloomfield in care of Jenkins Funeral Home.
