Livingston, Raymond D.

Raymond D. Livingston of Worthington, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons, Indiana.  He was 85 years old, born April 16, 1921.

In 1971, he retired from Crane after 24 years of service as a diesel mechanic and welder.  He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the American Legion and VFW in Worthington and the Moose Lodge in Bedford.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Yancey, whom he married in 1950; one son, Kenneth Joe (Liz) Livingston of Indianapolis; one half-sister, Louise Hobbs of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Livingston; two half-brothers, Alfred E. Livingston and Harold Price; and one half-sister, Ruth Resler.

A funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  The place of burial will be Worthington Cemetery in Worthington, Indiana.
