Bonnie A. Hays of Linton passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Linton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Linton. She was 94 years old, born January 4, 1913 in Bicknell, the daughter of Henry and Myrtle (England) Masters.

She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Freeman Greene County Hospital in Linton, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Vicksburg.

Survivors include a daughter, Eva Ann Frye and husband Jack of Switz City; five grandchildren, Ronna Aydt and husband Jerry of Owensville, Susan Buskirk of Worthington, Linda Edwards and husband Keith of Clay City, Randy Frye and wife Becky of Solsberry, and Gary Frye and wife Shelley of Switz City; 13 great-grandchildren, Jeremy Aydt, Seth Aydt, Aaron Buskirk, Alisha Rhienhart, Kyle, Amy, and Brett Edwards, Caitlyn, Jordon, Logan, and Camron Frye, and Austin and Mallorey Frye; and two great-great-grandchildren, Payton Rhienhart and Kylar Buskirk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hays; one son-in-law; three brothers; and her parents.

A funeral service was conducted Saturday, May 12 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton. The place of burial was Bicknell Memorial Cemetery.
