Darl Richard “D” Fuller of Worthington passed away Tuesday morning, February 13, 2007 at his residence in Worthington. He was 89 years old, born July 20, 1917 in Worthington, the son of Raymond D. and Verna (Burks) Fuller.

Mr. Fuller retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington in 1982 after 17 years of service and he was a U. S. Navy Air Force Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington where he sang in the choir for many years. He was a member of the American Legion in Worthington and the Elks Lodge in Linton.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” (Kaunitz) Fuller of Worthington; two children, Lianne (Bob) Wilson of Worthington and Glen D. (Elizabeth) Fuller of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, John Wilson of Lynnville, Jason (Heidi) Wilson of Lizton, Ava Maria and Isabella Ann Fuller of Indianapolis; three great-granddaughters, Harley, Hadley and Bryce; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents and one sister, Leah Belle Heaton.

A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with Rev. Doug Sanders officiating. The place of burial will be Worthington Cemetery.
