Ann Graf of Bloomfield, Indiana, formerly of Worthington, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was 99 years old, born August 6, 1908, in Owen County, Indiana, the daughter of Samuel L. and Leota (Fulk) Griffith.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church. She was a member of the homemakers club, Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, and Psi Iota Xi sorority.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Kim Brackin-Brown of Brownsburg and Tim Brackin of Avon; two stepsons, Donald Kirby of Albany, Oregon, and Steve Graf of Switz City, Indiana; one step-daughter, Shirley Kirby of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Willis Griffith of Bloomfield, Indiana; one son-in-law, Cecil Brackin of Avon, Indiana; five great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Kirby and Jerome Graf; parents; one daughter, Georgia Ann Brackin; one stepson, Peter Allen Graf; and six brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service was conducted Monday, March 10 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Indiana, with Rev. Kevin Raidy officiating. The place of burial was Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
