One very bad apple - comments must now be editor approved
Friday, August 10, 2007 One bad apple can ruin things for everyone. The bad apple is not from Worthington. I am actually quite proud of the way every one from Worthington has used this website. And I was hoping to leave comments open to everyone - but today a bad apple posted something false and this can't happen again. From now on, you will all be able to post, but all posts will have to be approved before they go live on the site. This just means you post as usual, but you won't see your comment appear for awhile, until I've logged in and approved it.
And no, the comment had nothing to do with the story that preceeds this one farther down the page. The comment was about something else entirely, and not even about any other story on this website. It was just an out-of-the-blue-meanie thing.
Memorial Service for Floyd Freeman
Wednesday, August 8, 2007
Floyd Freeman of Worthington, Indiana recently passed away, much too young at the age of 59, and a memorial service was held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington. Floyd was the owner of Freeman Trucking based in Worthington, he was well-liked and well-known to area truckers and businesspeople. And so to honor him in a special way, his casket was carried to its final resting place in Worthington Cemetery on top of Floyd's own rig, driven by his brother. It seemed appropriate to take a few pictures and share these snapshots with others who could not be there.
