As always, the Worthington yard sale day will be held the Saturday before Labor Day which falls on September 1 this year.  And it's time to get your location on the map if you're plannng to have a sale.  The cut-off date is August 25 to be included.  If you don't get registered, you can still have a sale, but your location won't be on the map.  To get your name on the sale map, call Glen Cundiff at 875-3746. Yard sale day is sponsored by the Worthington Lions Club.

The Lions Club will also hold a breakfast at the municipal building from 6:30 until 10:00 a.m. on yard sale day.  The menu includes biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage, milk, juice and coffee.  Breakfast tickets will be $4 for adults and $2 for children.
