The Worthington Times

Greene County's Oldest Newspaper - Established in 1853

The first issue of The Worthington Times was dated October 29, 1853, making it the oldest newspaper in Greene County, Indiana, and one of the oldest in the state.  Over 150 years of area history are recorded in the historic archives of the Times with all issues preserved on microfilm housed at the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis and the Worthington-Jefferson Township Public Library in Worthington, Indiana.  You are now on the home page of  the Times online with an easy address to remember  -  www.worthingtontimes.com.
