Where the Eel River meets the White
Aerial view of Worthington from the east showing the area where the Eel River meets the White River. Eel River, coming from the upper right, is not very wide. The Pryor Bridge over White River
Looking north up White River over the W. I. Pryor Memorial Bridge on Indiana State Road 157 which goes (right) to Bloomfield via "the hill road." Worthington Sewage Treatment Plant
Looking west over Worthington's Sewage Treatment Plant, owned by the Town of Worthington's Sewage Utility Department. It is located south of Worthington, out past the cemetery and Vinegar Hill, on the road known as South Jefferson Street in town. Each May, during the annual Pride Week in Worthington, the town provides free trash dumping services to Worthington residents to help us clear clutter from our properties. The collection/dumping area used during this week can be seen to the right of the treatment plant. Photo by Anna Rochelle, 2001

The Hinchman Shelterhouse, basketball court and playground area can be seen at the bottom of the picture and the newer Worthington Community Building sits toward the right of the oval. Worthington, Indiana from the west
Worthington, Indiana from the west looking east. Over on the right, that's Terre Haute Road coming into town from the country. The first street you see going from left to right is Wabash Avenue. The WRV Worthington School is just left of center. Toward the top of the picture, IN SR 67 is heading off north-upper left, and IN SR 157, the hill road, is heading off to Bloomfield-upper right. Also in the distance, the Eel River, the White River, and the rest of the world. Photo by Anna Rochelle, 2001
